When Jabil invited us to suggest how we could help them improve project management communications and workflow we were keen to show what we could do. Their challenge revolved around the management of projects that were spread across geographies with a team that was constantly on the move.
The solution we came up with was to design and develop an occassionally connected Adobe Air system that allowed team members to share information painlessly. Our occasionally connected system allows team members to update their records and project progress regardless of the presence of an internet connection. This approach ensures that team members can work on the move without the need to seek out a wi-fi hotspot, and then seemlessly, once a connection with the back-office can be made, the system automatically synchronises.
Built utilising the Adobe Air platform we were very pleased with the final result and all the more pleased with the satisfaction it brought from Jabil. David Johnson, Strategic Development Director of Jabil put it this way;
"From system design to implementation and on-going support Objective Associates consistently deliver at a high level. We were very satisfied that they understood our needs clearly, reflected those needs in a very efficient and user friendly system which was designed and delivered in a very timely manner."
